POSITION:  SALES COORDINATOR FOR THE AFRICAN AND ETHNIC MARKETS

JOB DESCRIPTION

    A sales role has emerged to maintain, develop & grow an existing portfolio of customers in Africa and ethnic markets. The person will be responsible for communicating with customers on a regular basis, providing quotations, negotiating, processing orders, sharing information about products and services, and advising on market data. In addition to this, a key area will be the development of new business.

    His/Her job includes among others:

  • Develop and maintain customers in the United Kingdom and abroad by using the resources of the company by following the sales objectives.
  • Maintain and improve relationships with customers in Africa and other ethnicities, including daily emails and communication through phone calls.
  • Develop business and strategic plans, this person must be well organized to complete the task and increase revenue by 200% in the first half of 2022.
  • Address complaints and suggestions from customers within the United Kingdom and improve customer service relations for the organization.
  • Show loyalty to the company and expand the company's scope of influence.
  • Good negotiation and organizational skills and deep knowledge of different ethnical markets in the UK.
  • Be positive and independent, think confidently, and have a team spirit.
  • Honest and hardworking can work well under pressure.
  • Major knowledge in international trading or have relative experience.

  • Salary: £25, 600 per year
  • Working Term: Contract
  • This post is initially for 3 years which could be extended depending on the achievements of targets by the post holder within the initial first year.
  • Requirements

  • Masters in Business Management or equivalent.
  • Working experience in a similar role, knowledge of logistics, procurement, and marketing.
  • Knowledge of international trade payments & Incoterms would be preferred.
  • Ability to travel when permitted.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Work well as part of a team.
  • Good Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language (in words and writing.)
